Fire number and Driveway Permit needed before Building Permit is issued (if unimproved parcel)
Sanitary Permit for Proper Sanitary Waste and if plumbing bei ng installed

1 Set of Building Plans and 1 Site Plan (can be PDF) Showing Setbacks (one dwelling per parcel)
If dwelling: Plans must show wall bracing , elevatio ns and erosion control if required
and
Energy Work Sheets (Heat loss calculations Usually provided by Heating Contractor)
A Completed application with the following information:
Parcel Number of property (see tax statement)
All Contractors Name and license/cert. number (Plumber & Electrician must be licensed)
Estimate of Total Building Costs
Type of Foundation and Heating System
Building Address
Deck or Garage square footage
SETBACKS: (measured from the overhang)
All Roads - 66' from center of road or 30' from ROW (which ever is greater)
10’ from left, right and rear lot lines
U.S. Highway – 110' from center
County Highway – 75' from center

New Dwelling: (includes 7 inspections) (one per parcel)

$350.00 plus .15 cents per square foot (finished)

75.00 Electrical Inspection (New Service)
150.00 Land Use (payable to Town of Lake)
Manufactured Dwellings: (includes 3 inspections)
1 per parcel
$350.00 plus .15 cents per sq. ft. of finished construction

Re-Roof – maximum 2 layers of shingles – no charge
Raze/Removal – $50.00 ($30 (if bldg.> 400 sq. ft.) plus $20.00 Land Use)
Commercial Building- $350.00 ($200.00 plus $150.00 Land Use)
